1G BiDi SFP Transceiver Modules (Set) - Simplex Fiber

The majority of fiber optic cable installed for audio, video, network and control is two strand (duplex) count or greater. This is because most fiber optic electronics, including SFP modules, segregate send and receive signal transmission onto two separate fiber strands. 

Simplex (or one strand) fiber is typically relegated to telecommunications runs, such as ISP feeds outside of a building. However, from time-to-time simplex fiber finds its way into applications where multistrand is required, either from damaged cable or a previously installed or mis-specified cable. 

The TechLogix TL-1GSFP-BD SFP solves this problem by multiplexing duplex communication onto a simplex cable. 

Each TL-1GSFP-BD includes two matching transceivers that feature a single LC connection. The transceivers must be used in pairs and are compatible with standard 1G network switches, media converters and other 1G-based IP devices. 

For added versatility, the TL-1GSFP-BD is compatible with both single mode and multimode fiber. Single mode supports transmission distances up to 6.2 miles, whereas multimode supports transmission distances up to 492 feet.

1.25G SFP Transceiver MM, 550m

Cleerline™ SSF-SFP-MM1G transceiver is a high-performance, cost-effective module supporting data-rates of 1.25Gbps and 550m transmission distance with multimode fiber.

This SFP uses the 1000Base-SX standard, popular for short range connections.

The transceiver consists of three sections: a VCSEL laser transmitter, a PIN photodiode integrated with a transimpedance preamplifier (TIA) and MCU control unit. All modules satisfy class I laser safety requirements.

The transceivers follow the industry standards of the SFP Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) and SFF-8472, making them directly interchangeable with any networking device following industry standards.

The 10GBASE-SR Module supports a link length of 26m on standard Fiber Distributed Data Interface (FDDI)-grade multimode fiber (MMF). Using 2000MHz*km MMF (OM3), up to 300m link lengths are possible. Using 4700MHz*km MMF (OM4), up to 400m link lengths are possible.

Cleerline™ SSF-QSFP-40GSR2 is a high-performance 40G QSFP+ transceiver module designed for short-range duplex data communication and interconnect applications. It integrates four 10.3125 Gbps electrical data lanes into a single LC duplex fiber optic cable, achieving an aggregate bandwidth of 40Gbps. Cleerline™ SSF-SFP28-25GLR is a high performance 25G/28G LR single-mode and multi-rate SFP28 transceiver using 1310nm wavelength and reaching up to 10Km distance over 9/125um fibers. The module can be used for 25G Ethernet transmissions, and it is the building block of 100G single-mode fiber LR4 type transceivers.

The LR standard is used for medium and short-range fiber connections, due to increasingly popular single-mode fiber plant and very affordable costs. The SFP28 25G transceiver is backwards compatible with the SFP+ 10G rated transceivers.

The F-SFP10G-SM transceivers are designed for use in 10-Gigabit Ethernet links up to 10km over Single Mode fiber. They are compliant with SFF-8431, SFF-8432, and IEEE 802.3ae 10GBASE-LR/LW and 10G Fibre Channel 1200-SM-LL-L Digital diagnostics functions are available via a 2-wire serial interface.

The transceiver is alimiting module", i.e., it employs a limiting receiver. Host board designers using an EDC PHY IC should follow the IC manufacturer's recommended settings for interoperating the host-board EDC PHY with a limiting receiver SFP+ module. The optical transceiver is compliant with the RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU.

SCP 10GBASE-SR SFP+ 850nm 300m DOM Transceiver

The F-SFP10G-MM transceivers are designed for use in 10-Gigabit Ethernet links over multimode fiber. They are compliant with SFF-8431, SFF-8432, IEEE 802.3ae 10GBASE-SR/SW and 10G Fibre Channel 1200-Mx-SN-I. Digital diagnostics functions are available via a 2-wire serial interface, as specified in SFF-8472.

The transceiver is alimiting module", i.e., it employs a limiting receiver. The transmitter section uses a Vertical Cavity Surface Emitted Laser (VCSEL) which is a Class 1 laser compliant according to International Safety Standard IEC 60825. The Cisco compatible GLC-LH-SM-OEM modules offer customers a wide variety of 10 Gigabit Ethernet connectivity options for data center, enterprise wiring closet, and service provider transport applications. When used over legacy multimode fiber type, the transmitter should be coupled through a mode conditioning patch cable.

The 1000BASE-SX SFP, compatible with the IEEE 802.3z 1000BASE-SX standard, operates on legacy 50 µm multimode fiber links up to 550 m and on 62.5 µm Fiber Distributed Data Interface (FDDI)-grade multimode fibers up to 220m.
