The F-SFP10G-SM transceivers are designed for use in 10-Gigabit Ethernet links up to 10km over Single Mode fiber. They are compliant with SFF-8431, SFF-8432, and IEEE 802.3ae 10GBASE-LR/LW and 10G Fibre Channel 1200-SM-LL-L Digital diagnostics functions are available via a 2-wire serial interface.

The transceiver is alimiting module", i.e., it employs a limiting receiver. Host board designers using an EDC PHY IC should follow the IC manufacturer's recommended settings for interoperating the host-board EDC PHY with a limiting receiver SFP+ module. The optical transceiver is compliant with the RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU.

The F-SFP1G-SM single-mode transceivers are small form factor pluggable modules for bi-directional serial optical data communications such as Gigabit Ethernet 1000BASE-LX and Fiber Channel 1x SM-LC-LFC-PI. It is with the SFP 20-pin connector to allow hot plug capability. This module is designed for single-mode fiber and operates at a nominal wavelength of 1310nm.

The transmitter section uses a multiple quantam well 1310nm laser and is a class 1 laser compliant according to International Safety Standard IEC-60825. The receiver section uses an integrated InGaAs detector preamplifier (IDP) mounted in an optical header and a limiting post-amplifier IC. The F-SFP1G-SM is designed to comply with SFF-8472 SFP Multi-Source Agreement (MSA).

It features an SFP 20-pin connector to allow hot plug capability. This module is designed for multi-mode fiber and operates at a nominal wavelength of 850nm.

The transmitter section uses a Vertical Cavity Surface Emitted Laser (VCSEL) which is a Class 1 laser compliant according to International Safety Standard IEC 60825. The receiver section uses an integrated GaAs detector preamplifier (IDP) mounted in an optical header and a limiting post-amplifier IC.
