Cleerline™ SSF-SFP28-25GSR is a high-performance 25G SFP28 SR Optical Transceiver designed for short-range multimode fiber (MMF) communication, supporting distances of up to 70 meters over OM3 and 100 meters over OM4. This single-rate module is compliant with IEEE 802.3by 25GBASE-SR optical specifications and features a dual-directional design with a duplex LC optical connection. It is backward compatible with legacy 10G SFP+ modules, providing flexibility for various network upgrades. The module operates with a single +3.3V power supply and supports a control management interface via a 2-wire serial interface, which facilitates serial ID, digital diagnostics, and module control functions.
The SSF-SFP28-25GSR transceiver is equipped with a 25G 850nm VCSEL transmitter and a 25G PIN photo-detector, ensuring reliable data transmission and reception. It features an all-metal housing for superior EMI performance and operates within a temperature range of 0 to 70°C. The module supports digital diagnostic monitoring compliant with SFF-8472 and has a maximum power consumption of 1.0W. It is ideal for high-speed storage area networks, computer cluster cross-connects, custom high-speed data pipes, and inter-rack connections, providing robust and efficient solutions for modern data communication needs.
