Kendall Howard 10-32 Cage Nuts - 2500 Pack
Cage Nuts are used to install rackmount equipment into server rack cabinets, 4-post racks, wall mount cabinets and racks, and 2-post racks. Cage nut-style rails are often referred to as universal mounting rails, which are the most common type of rails used today.
If a rack or cabinet has cage nut style rails or universal mounting rails, they will require cage nuts. The thread size of the cage nut and the thread size of the screw must be the same to properly install rackmount components.

Kendall Howard 2-Post Relay Rack - (24U-45U)
Whether working with a wiring closet, telecom room, or data center, the Kendall Howard 2-Post Relay Rack is the ideal racking solution. Its sturdy construction makes a rigid, reliable rack that can hold up to 800 lbs. of equipment, including switches, patch panels, UPS’s, rack shelves, rackmount keyboard trays, and more. The rack features four ¼-20 x 0.5” grounding studs on the inside of the rails that allow you to ground your equipment directly to those studs. The Kendall Howard 3U Flat Spacer Blanks are a cut above the rest. Spacer blanks are often used as a way to fill in any gaps and conceal empty rack spaces in a rack or enclosure. The use of filler panels not only makes racks look neat, clean, and organized, but when installed properly they provide added support to the mounting rails. These spacer blanks are also critical for controlling proper airflow, especially in cold aisle/hot aisle applications.
This specific flat spacer blank is 3U. A U (unit) is the standard size for a single rack interval. This blank spacer is 19 inches long, which is average for most rack panels. It is .06 inches thick, so it is extremely thin. The blank spacer is also 5.22 inches high, which is roughly standard for most patch racks that have around 48 ports.

The Kendall Howard 2U Cable Routing Blank provides the perfect way to route cables within a rack. With this simple device, cables can easily be managed within a cabinet, cutting back on time consuming maintenance as well as avoiding unwanted damage to cables and components.
This 2U cable routing blank is 19” EIA compliant, so you can use it with nearly any rack-mount solution that you plan to use. A cable routing panel can be installed to safely direct cables from left to right or front to back. Of course, we recommend you use Kendall Howard with this piece of equipment for best results! However, it is not required. As long as the dimensions match up, you’ll be perfectly fine.
This cable routing blank comes with fourteen, large open cut-outs that provide ample room for routing various cables such as copper, fiber optic, telecom, and power cables. When you have smaller cable bundle installations, the use of the included tool-less clips makes installation easy with universal cage nut style rails. For heavier cable bundles the use of rack screws and cage nuts are recommended.
As far as the cut-outs themselves, they come with rounded edges to allow for you to not have to worry about injury to yourself or equipment when installed.
