• With recent changes to many new source and display components, we have updated the EVSP1013, EVSP1017, and EVRX2006 to improve compatibility. There are now “2nd Generation” versions of each of these products for improved compatibility

HDMI EDID Sync Recorder

The Evolution by Vanco EVRC5002 HDMI EDID Recorder is an EDID Reader/Writer/Retimer that has the ability to emulate EDID (Extended Display Identification Data) information. For use in applications where EDID issues are occurring. Features the ability to set EDID from the main unit or from a connected computer using the included software. Controllable via USB, the EVRC5002 stores and recalls EDID information from either source or display and supports HDCP. The EVRC5002 saves time from troubleshooting and having to replace equipment. Extended Display Identification Data (EDID) is a standard data format that contains basic information about the display and its capabilities, including vendor information, maximum image size, color characteristics, factory pre-set timings, frequency range limits, and character strings for the monitor name and serial number.

The information is stored in the display and is used to communicate with the system through a Display Data Channel (DDC). The system uses this information for configuration purposes, so the monitor and system can work together.

The single HDMI output can be used for a local display or cascaded into another splitter for an even larger distribution system. It supports 20k - 60K wideband bi-direction IR communication and dynamic or manual EDID management. The user can manually select the best compatible EDID or automatically blend EDID of 4 connected HDMI sinks. It also provides power over the Cat5e/6 so that the EVRX2006 do not require a power supply.

Evolution Uncompressed 4K HDBaseT Extender

The Evolution by Vanco EVEXHDB3 HDBaseT 3.0 extender offers multiple options for pass-through control, and audio including eARC and ARC, along with PoH while being able to extend uncompressed 4K with HDR up to 164ft/50m over a single Cat6 or up to 328ft/100m using Cat6a/7. Control signals include bi-directional IR pass-through to control IR sources, either way, bidirectional USB for KVM pass-through to control sources with a keyboard and mouse, and RS-232 pass-through for 3rd party control. Audio options include the ability to embed audio from a separate audio source, de-embed or extract audio from the HDMI signal, as well as eARC (Enhanced Audio Return Channel) and ARC (Audio Return Channel). In addition, the EVEXHDB3 allows for 1Gb ethernet pass-through. A great solution when trying to extend a network for streaming or control along with the audio and video signals over a single Cat6/6a/7 cable. The transmitting unit is equipped with an HDMI loop-out, to connect to a local display, combine with another HDMI distribution product, or extract audio. Power over HDBaseT (PoH) Technology transmits power over Cat6/6a/7, allowing either the Transmitter or Receiver to be powered without the use of a power supply. For extending uncompressed 4K with HDR, along with checking multiple boxes for control and audio options and more, the EVEXHDB3 is the perfect solution for any application.

The EVEXHDB3 includes two units: transmitting unit (EVEXHDB3-TX) and receiving unit (EVEXHDB3-RX). The transmitting unit is used to capture the HDMI input with additional signals and carries the signals via a single Cat6/6a/7 cable. The receiving unit is responsible for equalizing the transmitted HDMI signals and reconstructing other signals.

*NOTE – All specifications and ratings for the EVEXHDB3 have been tested and confirmed using Cat6 and Cat6a cabling. Cat5e is not recommended.

2.0 HDBaseT POC Receiver IR, RS-232

The Evolution by Vanco EVRXHD2 4K HDR HDBaseT™ Receiver with POC and Bi-directional IR, allows extension of 4K@60Hz, 4:4:4 Chroma Subsampling, and HDR up to 131ft/40m and 1080p up to 230ft/70m over a single Cat6 cable. PoC (Power over Cable) allows the EVRXHD2 to be powered over Cat6 from the matrix unit. Features IR pass-through to be able to control either sources and/or displays. The EVRXHD2 is compatible with the Evolution EVMX4X3, EVMX8X6, EVMX44PRO, and EVMX88PRO matrix units.

The EVRXDSC receiver has all the same features as the EVRXHD2 plus more, including RS-232 pass-through, ARC, audio extraction, and downscaling.
