Ultra Slim HDMI® over Single Cat5e/Cat6 Cable Extender with PoE

The Evolution by Vanco EVEX2006 HDMI Extender over Single Cat5e/6 with Bi-directional IR, auto EDID/EQ, and PoE extends high definition video and audio signals, IR, and power at a distance of up to 164ft/50m over a single Cat5e/6 cable. Power over Ethernet (PoE) Technology transmits power over Cat5e/6, allowing either the Transmitter or Receiver to be powered without the use of a power supply. No EDID or EQ adjustments are necessary as the units automatically adjusts for compatibility and gain. This extender set also features a newly redesigned slim and compact chassis for easy and flexible
installations. This product fully supports DTS-HD and Dolby TrueHD audio formats, and is HDCP compliant. In addition, bidirectional IR pass-through allows for source or display control. The EVEX2006 includes two units: transmitting unit (EVEX2006-TX) and receiving unit (EVEX2006-RX). The transmitting unit is used to capture the HDMI input with IR signals and carries the signals via one cost effective Cat5e/6 cable. The receiving unit is responsible for equalizing the transmitted HDMI signal and reconstructing IR signals. The EVEX2006 offers the most convenient solution for HDMI extension over a single Cat5e/6 with Power over Ethernet, and is the perfect solution for any application.

Tech Support Tips:

• Please install as a complete set. Due to necessary changes to the product over time, do not mix with other EVEX2006 units or other products within the same family (EVSP1013, EVSP1017, EVRX2006, EVWP2006, EVWP2006TX/RX) to ensure compatibility and functionality
• Recommended to be used with a permanent source, or non-rotating source. For any rotating source such as a conference room type setup, it is recommended to use an HDBaseT extender
• HDMI UHD Deep Color mode on some LG displays may need to be deactivated to avoid video signal issues
• Input Signal Plus on some Samsung displays may need to be deactivated to avoid video signal issues

HDMI® 1×3 Splitter over Cat5e/Cat6 Cable

The Evolution EVSP1013 is a HDMI splitter that allows for 1 HDMI input to be split and sent to 4 different displays. The 3-UTP output ports can connect to the EVRX2006 POE receiver (sold Separately) over Cat5e/6 cable to transmit 1080p60 video with audio and control up to 50m. The single HDMI output can be used for a local display or cascaded into another splitter for an even larger distribution system. It supports 20k - 60K wideband bi-direction IR communication and dynamic or manual EDID management. The user can manually select the best compatible EDID or automatically blend EDID of 4 connected HDMI sinks. It also provides power over the Cat5e/6 so that the EVRX2006 do not require a power supply.

Tech Support Tips:

• With recent changes to many new source and display components, we have updated the EVSP1013, EVSP1017, and EVRX2006 to improve compatibility. There are now “2nd Generation” versions of each of these products for improved compatibility

• Ensure that both the splitter(s) (EVSP1013 and EVSP1017) and receiver(s) (EVRX2006) match generation versions. For example, if using a “2nd Generation” splitter, a “2nd Generation” EVRX2006 receiver must be used. All “2nd Generation” Products are marked as such on the product and box. If no version or version number is listed, this would be a “1st Generation” unit

2.0 HDBaseT POC Receiver IR, RS-232

The Evolution by Vanco EVRXHD2 4K HDR HDBaseT™ Receiver with POC and Bi-directional IR, allows extension of 4K@60Hz, 4:4:4 Chroma Subsampling, and HDR up to 131ft/40m and 1080p up to 230ft/70m over a single Cat6 cable. PoC (Power over Cable) allows the EVRXHD2 to be powered over Cat6 from the matrix unit. Features IR pass-through to be able to control either sources and/or displays. The EVRXHD2 is compatible with the Evolution EVMX4X3, EVMX8X6, EVMX44PRO, and EVMX88PRO matrix units.

The EVRXDSC receiver has all the same features as the EVRXHD2 plus more, including RS-232 pass-through, ARC, audio extraction, and downscaling.
