Cleerline Armored Cable Slitting Tool

The Cleerline Armored Cable Slitting Tool allows quick preparation of armored cables, including aluminum interlocking armor (AIA) and direct burial armor (armored corrugated steel).

The slitting tool cuts both the outer jacket and internal armoring in a single operation, thereby exposing the internal cables and conductors. It's an essential tool for both fiber optic and non-fiber optic armored cables and assemblies.

The slitting tool is compatible with armored cables from 0.315 to 1.125 inches (8 to 28.6mm) in diameter, and a built-in rotatable blade pivots up to 90 degrees allowing both longitudinal ("slit") and circumferential ("ring") slitting.

Fiber Cable Slitter and Ring Tool

The Cleerline Cable Slitter and Ring Tool is an essential tool for removing the outer jacket on bulkier fiber optic cables. It features an adjustable blade for slitting and ringing cables up to 0.25 inches (6.4mm) in diameter.

For ease of operation, two built-in "V" grooves support different cable diameters without switching cutters or making physical adjustments.

Radial Cable Stripper Tool

The Cleerline Radial Cable Stripping Tool is an essential tool for removing the outer jacket on bulkier fiber optic cables. It features an adjustable blade for creating circumferential or spiral cuts on cables up to 1 inch (25mm) in diameter.

The Radial Cable Stripping Tool is ideal for use on cables with PVC, polyurethane or similar jacket types, including indoor/outdoor, rugged and tactical constructions.

Tri-hole Fiber Optic Strippers

The Cleerline Tri-Hole Fiber Strippers are an essential tool for the general preparation of fiber optic cable.

Not to be confused with the Cleerline Tri-Hole Strippers designed for SSF polymer removal and fusion splice preparation (separate part number SSF-TRIHOLEP), the general Tri-Hole Strippers features three grooves that quickly and easily remove outer cable jackets up to 3.0mm, inner strand buffers from 600µm to 900µm, and inner strand acrylates of 250µm.

This three-hole design provides optimal cable stripping and preparation, making the Tri-Hole Strippers an essential tool for general cable preparation and mechanical connector termination.

SSF Tri-Hole Fiber Optic Stripper for SSF™ Polymer Removal

This stripping tool is not intended for use when installing mechanical splices, such as Cleerline SSF™ connectors, on SSF™ fiber. SSF™ polymer coating must remain in place for non-fusion splicing applications.

The Cleerline Tri-Hole Fiber Strippers are an essential tool for the preparation of Cleerline SSF™ fiber for fusion splicing.

Unlike the basic Cleerline SSF-TRIHOLE Strippers that are used for cable jacket removal and general mechanical connector termination, these advanced Tri-Hole Strippers specifically remove the patented SSF polymer coating that's integral to SSF fiber. Successful fusion splicing requires the removal of the SSF polymer, and failure to do so will compromise the splice.

Enter the Cleerline SSF-TRIHOLEP.... Three built-in grooves quickly and easily remove outer cable jackets up to 3.0mm, inner strand buffers from 250µm to 900µm, and the inner SSF polymer at the 125µm level.

The Cleerline Tri-Hole Fiber Strippers are compatible with all Cleerline SSF cables, including multimode and single-mode constructions.

The serrated plier nose is great for gripping and pulling, in case you need to really tug on a wire. There are even holes in the jaw for looping wire through.
