HDMI EDID Sync Recorder

The Evolution by Vanco EVRC5002 HDMI EDID Recorder is an EDID Reader/Writer/Retimer that has the ability to emulate EDID (Extended Display Identification Data) information. For use in applications where EDID issues are occurring. Features the ability to set EDID from the main unit or from a connected computer using the included software. Controllable via USB, the EVRC5002 stores and recalls EDID information from either source or display and supports HDCP. The EVRC5002 saves time from troubleshooting and having to replace equipment. This EDID management allows and encourages source and display “handshake”, a perfect solution for compatibility issues.

Extended Display Identification Data (EDID) is a standard data format that contains basic information about the display and its capabilities, including vendor information, maximum image size, color characteristics, factory pre-set timings, frequency range limits, and character strings for the monitor name and serial number.

The information is stored in the display and is used to communicate with the system through a Display Data Channel (DDC). The system uses this information for configuration purposes, so the monitor and system can work together.

4K HDMI 1×2 Splitter with EDID and Scaling

Evolution 4K 4×1 HDMI® Switch with ARC and HDR

The Evolution by Vanco HDMI 4x1 Switcher (EVSW1042) allows 4 HDMI sources to be distributed to 1 display, with the ability of controlling each source connected and input switching from the display remotely via IR. Allows multiple sources to be switched on a single display by creating additional HDMI inputs. The EVSW1042 is capable of up to 4K/60Hz Ultra High Definition resolution, 4:4:4 chroma capability, and HDR with HDCP 2.2, making this unit the most up to date HDMI switcher for 4K transmission. Also features EDID management for audio, which allows selection of a preferred type of audio transmission. Equipped with ARC (Audio Return Channel) functionality, which allows the connected ARC equipped display to send audio data “upstream” to an ARC equipped A/V receiver or surround audio controller, via toslink or stereo output for expanded audio distribution. In addition, the EVSW1042 features RS-232 for control of the main switching until as well as IR routing, which allows for remotre source control at the display location. HDBaseT Extender Set with Wall-Plate Transmitter

The Evolution by Vanco EVWP3000 HDBaseT extender with single-gang wall-plate transmitter supports resolutions up to 4K@60Hz, 4:4:4 chroma over a single Cat5e/6 cable up to 131ft (40m) or 1080p@60Hz up to 230ft (70m). Featuring HDBaseT technology, this extender set supports audio, video, IR, and Power over HDBaseT (PoH) that transmits power over the Cat5e/6 cable. The EVWP3000 is a great wall-plate solution for extending HDMI signals using HDBaseT technology for both residential and commercial installations.

USB 3.2 Extender Over HDBaseT with USB-C

The Evolution by Vanco EVEX4K50 HDBaseT 4K@60Hz, 4:4:4 Chroma, HDR Extender with Bi-directional IR, and Power over Cable (PoC) extends 4K/60Hz, 4:4:4 with HDR along with audio, and RS232 at a distance of up to 164/50m over a single Cat5e/6 cable. Also able to pass 1080p/60Hz up to 230ft/70m. Power over Cable (PoC) Technology transmits power over Cat5e/6, allowing either the Transmitter or Receiver to be powered without the use of a power supply for an easy installation. No EDID or EQ adjustments are necessary as the units automatically adjust for compatibility and gain. In addition, RS-232 and bi-directional IR pass-through allows for source and/or display control. The EVEX4K50 includes two units: transmitting unit (EVEX4K50-TX) and receiving unit (EVEX4K50-RX). The transmitting unit is used to capture the HDMI input with IR signals and carries the signals via one cost effective Cat5e/6 cable. The receiving unit is responsible for equalizing the transmitted HDMI signal and reconstructing IR signals. The EVEX4K50 offers the most convenient solution for 4K extension over a single Cat5e/6 with Power over Cable, and is the perfect solution for any application.
