Simply45® ProSeries RED locking pin for Simply45® Strain Relief Boots S45-B001 & S45-B002 will greatly reduce truck roll backs from tampering with network connections and accidental disconnections. Strain reliefs prevent excessive bending or twisting of the cable near the connector, reducing the risk of damage to the internal wires and ensuring a longer lifespan for the cable. Simply45® strain reliefs are the same width as the RJ45 connector body and becomes integrated into the RJ45 plug during the crimping process. The extended tab provides a snag proof protection for the locking tab on the plug. Adding strain reliefs is a cost-effective way to ensure the longevity and reliability of your network connections.

The Simply45® S45-B00LP – ProSeries RED locking pin for Simply45® Strain Relief Boots S45-B001 & S45-B002. The red locking pin slides into the back of the Integrated Snagless Strain Relief and force the tab of the RJ45 connector into the lock position. Will greatly reduce truck roll backs from tampering with network connections and accidental disconnections.

The Simply45® S45-B00LP Locking Pins are Fast and Easy to Use with S45-B001 & S45-B002 strain reliefs extend the useful life of the RJ45 modular plug termination and should be used with all terminations.

• Prolongs Life of the Termination. The S45-B00LP takes the strain off the terminated plug. When you do not use a strain relief, any contact with the plug or cable puts strain directly on the terminated plug. Over time this could cause one or more of the RJ45 pins to become loose. If a pin becomes loose it will create electrical resistance. Resistance creates heat. This could then cause performance problems or damage to the device socket.
• Commercial Rated UL94 V0. The Simply45® S45-B00LP and strain reliefs are UL94 V0 (IEC 60695-11-10) rated for all commercial installations. These strain reliefs are recommended for CMP Plenum, CMR, CM; and LSZH up to B2ca rated LAN cables.
• Narrow Design for Easy Access. The strain reliefs are the same width as the RJ45 modular plug. Most common strain reliefs slide over the RJ45. This makes the terminated connector much wider and difficult to use in multi-port patch panels and devices. Therefore, many installers decide to forgo using strain reliefs. The Simply45® strain reliefs lock into the plug during the termination and maintain a very narrow profile. This allows easy access to the plug in these tight installations.
• Maintains Correct Bend Radius of the Termination. The Simply45® Integrated Strain Reliefs protect the terminated RJ45 from damage during the life of the link or channel. Maintaining industry standards bend radius is important for maximizing the link/channel performance.
