NextGen Remote Extender Genius Receiver Kit
NextGen Remote Extender Genius Receiver KitExtended Remote Control Freedom
Designed with the same idea behind the Remote Extender Plus, the Genius offers all of the same features and more! Use the NextGen Remote Extender Genius to add radio frequency signals to almost any infrared AA or AAA remote control for longer range. By using our patented radio frequency signaling system, you can control a component up to 100 feet away through walls, doors, windows, floors, and more. There's no need for a direct line-of-sight to your component's receiver, so you can feel free to hide bulky component boxes (DVD, stereo, cable, etc.) behind closed cabinets or closets. Imagine a clutter-free entertainment area while still having full access to all of your tucked away components. With the NextGen Remote Extender Genius, this is possible! Use it to de-clutter entertainment stands and create the home theater that you've always wanted.
Easy to Set-Up & Use
This start-up kit includes everything you'll need to control 1 component with a single remote or up to 3 components with a universal remote. The secret is in the specially designed batteries made for your component's remote control. Simply swap out one of your component’s remote control’s batteries for the special RF Transmitter battery. The kit comes with 2 rechargeable 2/3 AAA batteries (which can be charged inside the receiver’s base), 1 RF transmitter battery sleeve, 1 conversion sleeve to fit AA battery operated controllers, and one 3 Eye Infrared Emitter Cable. During installation, you will need to “marry” the signal between the RF Transmitter and the Genius by simply pressing the button on top of the Genius receiver while controlling your remote.
For Additional Components
Each receiver unit has 2 Eye Infrared Emitter outputs that together are capable of controlling up to 12 components (if used with the appropriate accessories). Each additional component being added to your system needs to be linked with an Eye Infrared Emitter, and each new remote control needs to have an RF Transmitter. For controlling more than 3 components, you can either purchase a second 3 Eye Infrared Emitter Cable (providing sensors for up to 3 components) or upgrade to the 6 Eye Infrared Emitter Cable (providing sensors for up to 6 components). This means that if you wish to control 12 different components with a single unit, you will need two 6 Eye Infrared Emitter cables and a separate RF Transmitter for each new remote control being added (systems using a universal remote will only need 1 RF Transmitter).
Available Frequencies for Additional Units
The Genius uses one frequency (433 MHz) that can be split up into 6 sub-channels. This allows you to have up to 6 separate Genius receiver kits within a 100-ft. radius of each other. If you wish to have an additional, 7th NextGen remote extender receiver, check out the 418 MHz frequency model of the NextGen Plus. Please note that because the Genius receiver uses sub-channels of a 433 MHz frequency, you CANNOT use the Plus 433 MHz frequency model within the same 100-ft. radius as the Genius (it will cause interference between units). The 418 MHz frequency model of the Plus, however, can be used in the same 100-ft. radius as the Genius without interference. With that being said, you can have up to 7 NextGen Remote Extender receiver kits (the Plus 418 MHz frequency unit and 6 Genius units) in a single 100-ft. radius.

NextGen 3 Eye LRRX Cable
NextGen 3-EYE 3 Eye LRRX Cable
The 3-EYE is designed for use with the LRRX-BLUE-433, LRRX-RED-418, or other remote control extender kits manufactured by Next Generation Home Products. These state-of-the-art transmitter and receiver kits allow you to use your remote control far beyond traditional IR capabilities. You can easily reach components up to 100 feet away through doors, floors, and walls. Each receiver unit broadcasts an IR signal to any components facing it, and the kits come complete with a single-eye emitter. But if you have multiple components stacked or set apart from each other, the IR signal can have trouble getting where it needs to go.
This 3-Eye LRRX emitter replaces the single-eye cable you get with your kit to expand your control abilities. It allows you to send the signal to up to three different components. The extra-long cable also allows your components to be up to 8 feet away from the saucer-shaped receiver, giving you flexibility and accommodating a variety of home theater system set-ups. To set up, plug the emitter into the Next Gen receiver unit. Peel the paper off of the adhesive on the underside of the emitters and stick to the IR windows of your components or to a surface directly in front of the IR window.
