With a surface mount box like the SINGLE-GANG, you can create a way to attach wall plates without having to cut into your wall. Any low voltage wall plate will work: keystone, speaker, decora, HDMI. Just attach the wall plate to this single gang box like you would any other low voltage bracket using the two machine-threaded screw casings.

The SINGLE-GANG is designed for surface use and is not meant to be recessed fully into the wall. It offers several points of access for running your cables to it and through it. There are two rectangular knock-outs for use with Raceway cable cover systems and a 1.25” opening for conduit. To affix this single gang box to a wall, floor, or other surface, there are several holes to accommodate screws, nails, or other hardware. ICC already offers single and dual HDMI port decorex inserts and this modular coupler option gives additional flexibility. The HDMI Modular Coupler is certified and support enhanced and high-definition video along with eight (8) channels of digital audio. The coupler has female connectors on both ends to connect two HDMI cables. The Cat3 jack is a widely used keystone for basic voice applications. The Cat3 jack provided by FireFold is designed to provide excellent performance and durability. This Cat3 jack comes with an RJ11/RJ12 Keystone head and is a 6-position, 6-conductor keystone jack. RJ11 keystone jacks have been replaced for most data transfers for the newer RJ45 ended cables in Cat5 and Cat6 cabling standards.

This cable offers speed. Since media is becoming very rich and on demand in today's networks, this extra bandwidth--nearly double of Cat5-- allows Cat 6 to be used on networks that are optimized for high bit rates.

Since bulk cable is normally used in intervals, the box that it comes in is almost as important as the cabling. Our boxes are reinforced to generally protect the cable. Also, they are easy to pull allowing the cable to be virtually kink less while being pulled out of the box.

Flat Cat6 Patch Cable RJ45 Connectors

FireFold’s Category 6 (CAT6 Ethernet cable) Ethernet cables are made to be at market standards, meeting and exceeding the TIA/EIA-568 standard. Each of these Cat6 patch cables are able to perform up to 550 MHz with a 50 micron gold plated contact RJ45 connector at either end of the cable to help against corrosion.

The CAT6 Ethernet cables are constructed from four flat 32 AWG stranded pair pure copper wire strands in a PVC cable casing. This means that the cables are more flexible and more readily usable for patch cables.

The PVC jacket that wraps around these cables is CM type, which means it is good for general use. The jacket itself is flatter than most, making it easier to run under carpeting or around baseboards. A molded strain relief boot rests upon each connector, helping prevent snags and damage to your cable.

CAT6 Ethernet cables are backwards compatible with any 10BaseT or 100BaseT network cards and hubs, allowing you to buy our cables and not have to switch out your older equipment. Each Cat6A jack provided by Vertical Cable provides outstanding performance, exceeding the TIA/EIA-568-B.2-10 industry standard. Because of this standard, these Cat6a jacks support the operation of 10Gig Ethernet applications. This makes these keystone jacks perfect for use in today’s high-speed networks while remaining completely backward compatible with all previous standards.

The Cat6A jack comes with a standard RJ45 plug on the outside. Wiring slots are in place for a tool required termination. All of our networking keystone jacks have 568A and 568B color codes on the jacks in addition to the easy trouble free 110 style termination.

These network jacks are designed with a shielded termination cap that minimizes additional AXT from neighboring connectors. They also feature twisted pair separation posts which minimize untwisting of pairs to allow for efficient installation and long-term peak performance.

Meeting All Requirements

Each RJ45 keystone jack is flame retardant, and each is UL verified for quality and safety. These RJ45 jacks easily fit in most standard keystone jack wall plates. Plus, they come in a variety of colors - both to help you keep your cables organized but also to allow you to match your keystone easily to whatever colors you are planning.

You can find a variety of keystone wall plates with us, which allow you to customize easily what you put into each wall plate in your home. You could combine one of these with a coax keystone, or even an RJ11 keystone, with just an easy snapping of each keystone into their place.
