DataComm Recessed Bulk Cable Plate

Use DataComm Electronics recessed low voltage cable plates to install low voltage cables behind your flat panel TV, your amplifier or other audio/video devices. These recessed bulk cable plates are designed to be used with low voltage mounting plate brackets by any major manufacturer.

The recessed low voltage cable plates can be installed upright or upside down. Install the 45-0001/2 upside down when installing flat panel TV’s.

Determine the location of your flat panel TV, amplifier or audio/video device. Cut a hole in the wall and install the low voltage mounting plate bracket. Then simply pull your cables through the mounted low voltage mounting plate bracket and then through the DataComm Electronics recessed low voltage cable plate. Insert the DataComm Electronics recessed low voltage cable plate into your mounted low voltage mounting plate bracket and secure tightly with the wall plate screws.

DataComm Bulk Cable Wall Plate with Flex

DataComm's patented flex bulk cable wall plate provides an easy and convenient way to organize your cables while keeping a clean look to your install. It allows you to pass low voltage cables through the wall, behind your flat panel TV, amp, or other audio/video devices.

The center of the cable plate is made of a flexible plastic, which allows you to pass multiple cables (up to six) through the plate. The attached mounting wings fit snugly against any wall up to 1" thick and eliminate the need for an additional low voltage bracket.

DataComm 45-0021-WH Bulk Cable Plate

Use DataComm Electronics’ patented new recessed low voltage cable plate with recessed power to install power and low voltage cables behind your flat panel TV, your amplifier or other audio and video devices. The 45-0021 recessed low voltage cable plate with recessed power can be installed upright or upside down.

Use either a single gang retrofit work box or for new construction installations, use a new nail on box. Once you have wired the receptacle*, then begin by inserting the receptacle portion of the plate into the work box. Once the entire recessed plate is flush to the wall, using the two white screws supplied, screw the receptacle portion of the plate to the work box. Next, screw down the screws with wings. These wings will fasten tightly against the back of the drywall. Plug in all necessary video and audio cables. Install your flat panel TV mounting bracket per the flat panel TV bracket manufacturer’s instructions.

This plate's innovative "mounting wings" eliminate the need for a low voltage mounting bracket. The mounting wings are molded into the Easy Mount wall plate and fasten tightly against the back of the drywall. The standard Easy Mount Cable Plate has the capacity of a double gang plate in a single gang profile.

The new, thinner profile of the Easy Mount Cable Plate is designed to fit behind the industry's thinnest mounts and flat-panel TVs.

The Slim-Fit version of the Easy Mount Recessed Cable Plate is designed for use in concrete wall applications where the wall cavity is 3/4" to 1" in depth.

DataComm’s 45-0016-WH Decor Insert is designed for use with Decor and Decora-style wall plates. These bulk inserts allow you to pull a variety of cables straight through at the beginning or end of a wire run, saving time and eliminating an extra connection at the wall. A sheet of thin flexible plastic conceals the cut-in opening and helps prevent dust and other debris from entering your stud bay. The star-style slit can easily accommodate up to four cables including HDMI, coax, and Ethernet. With a low profile and multiple angles of exit, the 45-0016-WH is great behind ultra-slim TV mounts, in entertainment closets, or anywhere else space is limited.

With a durable finish and a simple installation process, the 45-0016-WH is a versatile solution for networking and home theater cable runs. Decor wall plates come in two parts: the face plate and the insert. Using this system, you can mix and match inserts for the combination plate of your dreams. FireFold carries one, two, and three-gang Decora faceplates for use with this bulk pass-through as well as a wide variety of other inserts. To assemble, just attach this insert to your face plate then secure the face plate to a low voltage box or bracket.

DataComm  1-3/4 Inch Hole Saw Plate

This two-by-two-inch wall plate is designed to conceal low voltage cables behind the smaller home theater and security equipment. The compact design mounts inside a 1-3/4 inch hole and features a 0.77 x 0.87-inch brush opening. Built-in wings enable mounting without the need for a low voltage mounting bracket. Simply tighten the screws into place for a secure hold.

Cover Ups

Bulk pass-through wall plates are a must-have for many in-home and professional wire installations. They combine ease with a clean look and allow cables to be accessed and swapped without the purchase of a new plate. There’s no universally perfect pass-through plate, though. Personal preference differs just as much as practical application, but DataComm’s 45-0017-WH Split Wall Plate with Flexible Opening is a great option for many projects. The top and bottom halves can be pulled completely apart, so it is especially handy for situations in which the wires are already run or a cable has a large connector such as VGA and DVI.

This Split Wall Plate fits on any standard single-gang box or bracket and comes with a pair of color-matched screws. The extremely slim profile allows this wall plate to fit into tight spaces like those behind a mounted television. A flexible plastic sheet covering the opening offers a clean and inconspicuous look while still accommodating up to six standard sized cables. The natural white color blends in well with most décor and, once installed, the edge between the top and bottom halves is virtually indistinguishable.
