Locate and analyze the RJ45 port connections in your network

Use this tool to effortlessly analyze RJ45 port connections in real time. You can check their trace status for an active connection (port LED lights red), a correctly cabled connection (port LED lights green), and a failure in cable termination (port LED is off). This works with select keystone jacks (#791267 & 791274) and patch panels (#721080) with built-in LEDs from Intellinet Network Solutions. For the best overall solution, we recommend using all these three components in conjunction.

The DSA540A Sperry Instruments Snap-Around clamp meter is a 10 function, 26 range auto-ranging unit engineered to measure up to 400A AC/DC current, 600V AC/DC voltage, 40 Mohm resistance, frequency, capacitance, diode test and continuity. Similar to digital multimeters, clamp meters offer a large range of functions and include LCD screens to display results but they offer the additional unique ability to measure current without having to contact live conductors. This unit features a data hold and relative measurement to maintain the reading on the liquid crystal display and auto power-off functionality to extend battery life with a low batter indicator to ensure you won't get incorrect readings due to low batteries. Audible beeper permits easy continuity check. We consider safety first; this instrument has been designed and tested and certified to cETLus with CAT II t 600 V and CAT III 300V ratings.

Trace circuits to detect appropriate breaker. Turning off the correct breaker is critical when considering work on an electrical circuit and can take an excessive amount of time. The Breaker Finder is an integrated tool used to correctly identify the right breaker every time. The signal is generated by a plug style tool that also verifies the correct wiring of outlets and includes GFCI test functionality.
