ProSeries Integrated Strain Relief for all Simpy45® External Ground Shielded RJ45 – Clear – 100pcs/Bag

Simply45® strain relief boots give a finished and professional look to the cable assembly, improving cable management and reducing the chances of accidental disconnections. Strain reliefs prevent excessive bending or twisting of the cable near the connector, reducing the risk of damage to the internal wires and ensuring a longer lifespan for the cable. Simply45® strain reliefs are the same width as the RJ45 connector body and becomes integrated into the RJ45 plug during the crimping process. The extended tab provides a snag proof protection for the locking tab on the plug. Adding strain reliefs is a cost-effective way to ensure the longevity and reliability of your network connections.

The Simply45® S45-B004P is an 8.5mm (0.33”) snagless narrow-width strain relief for use with larger diameter shielded LAN cables. The S45-B004P is recommended for all Simply45® PROSeries branded shielded with external ground RJ45 modular plugs. These 8.5mm strain reliefs protect the RJ45 modular plug and extend the useful life of the termination. Simply45® recommends that strain reliefs or boots should be used with all RJ45 terminations.

• For Large Diameter LAN Cables. The Simply45® S45-B004P is designed to work with most large-diameter LAN cables. It can work with cable diameters up to 8.5mm (0.33”). We recommend this strain relief/boot for all Shielded with External Ground RJ45 modular plugs. You can also use these strain reliefs with other unshielded large-diameter LAN cables such as Cat6 Shielded and Cat6 Shielded Direct Burial.
• Prolongs Life of the Termination. The S45-B004P takes the strain off the terminated plug. When you do not use a strain relief, any contact with the plug or cable puts strain directly on the terminated plug. Over time this could cause one or more of the RJ45 pins to become loose. If a pin becomes loose it will create electrical resistance. Resistance creates heat. This could then cause performance problems or damage to the device socket.
• Fits inside the Terminated RJ45 Modular Plug. The S45-B004P is designed to fit over Simply45® shielded with external ground RJ45 modular plugs. S45-1150, S45-1155, S45-1750P, S45-1755P
• Maintains Correct Bend Radius of the Termination. The Simply45® S45-B004P Strain Reliefs protect the terminated RJ45 from damage during the life of the link or channel. Maintaining industry standards bend radius is important for maximizing the link/channel performance.
• Professional Finish. In addition to protecting the termination and extending the operating life of the link/channel, the S45-B004P strain reliefs also provide a professional finish to your terminated RJ45.
• Trimmable. The S45-B004P strain reliefs are trimmable so that you can adjust the bend radius if necessary, to work in very tight installations.
• Clear Color. The S45-B004P strain reliefs come in a clear color so that it easily works with all cable jacket colors.
• Snagless Design. The S45-B004P strain reliefs are a snagless design. This prevents broken latch tabs on the RJ45 modular plugs.
• Wide Mouth Resealable Bag for Easy Hand Access. No need to spill RJ45 mod plugs out of the bag just to reach them. The S45-B004P strain reliefs bag packaging stands up and can remain open so that you can easily reach in and remove the strain reliefs.
