The Shielded, Cat5E Plenum Cable 1000ft bulk amount, is a must-have for any indoor Plenum rated networking jobs in any noisy situation. This rating of cable is designed with a flame retardant FEP jacket along with an STP (shielded twisted pair) shielding manufactured to resist cross-talk and electromagnetic interference that comes with networking in close proximity to other cable sources.
Considered the Industry Standard for most network installations, Category 5 (CAT5E, or CAT5) is a "twisted pair" network cable used for carrying data signals at speeds of up to 350MHz of bandwidth.
Plenum rated Cat5E cable contains a flame retardant PVC jacket and is designed for cable runs being laid in spaces defined as "Air Plenums", this includes raised flooring systems, air handling ducts, etc. Plenum jackets produce less smoke than traditional PVC jackets.
This type of cable comes complete with a foil and mylar tape shielding to protect the signal strength of the cable and ensure that there is no signal loss due to nearby electrical equipment, or cross-talk from additional cables in close proximity.
Designed for more straight-forward, simple installations, this particular style of solid cable is perfect for most installations where cable runs do not require several bends and twists in the line.
For this particular cable, the gauge is 24 AWG, which is a diameter of about 0.0201 Inches, or 0.511mm. 24AWG is the Industry Standard for any typical network cable installation. American Wire Gauge (AWG) is the standardized gauging system for measuring wire sizes.

Besides the 110 termination that this network patch panel offers, there are 24 individual Cat5E ports on the front side. Once you get your cables terminated on the one side, you just plug and go on the other. This is a very quick and easy solution for being able to swap out devices at any time. Plus, with numbered ports, you can easily keep track of what is plugged in where for better organization.
These IT patch panels are also able to handle wire diameters of 22AWG to 26AWG, so you should be able to easily find wires to fit.

The shielded CAT8 field termination plug is designed specifically for CAT8 bulk cable. This 8 pin 8 conductor (8p8c) plug has 50 micro inch gold plated contacts for superior signal conductivity. The wire alignment insert provides an efficient termination without a crimp tool, although a cable stripper is recommended to prepare the cable for termination. This connector has been rated for PoE and is capable of power transfer.

Cat6a is the latest standard that can run up to a 600 MHz frequency, transferring up to 10-Gigabits through appropriate equipment. The Cat6a shielded cables still hold a 50-micron gold plated contact within the RJ45 connectors, just as all of FireFold’s Ethernet cables to help prevent corrosion. A boot rests upon each connector, helping prevent snags and damage to your cable.
These CAT6a shielded cables are constructed from four 26 AWG shielded twisted pair pure copper wire strands in a PVC cable casing. The SSTP (screen shielded twisted pair) wires of these Cat6a patch cables are twisted together to reduce cross talk and the individual pairs have shielding around them. The pairs as a unit have an additional braided screen around them.
