California Prop 65 Warning
For CA Residents Only.
California Proposition 65 Warning
Proposition 65, officially the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, is a law that requires warnings be provided to California consumers when they might be exposed to chemicals identified by California as causing cancer or reproductive toxicity. The warnings are intended to help California consumers make informed decisions about their exposures to these chemicals from the products they use. The California Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) administers the Proposition 65 program and publishes the listed chemicals, which includes more that 850 chemicals. In August 2016, OEHHA adopted new regulations, effective on August 30, 2018, which change the information required in Proposition 65 warnings.
• WARNING: Some cable, plastic, and metal products may contain chemicals known to the state of CA to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm.

HDMI Extender Over Cat6 Cable with Built-in IR (Up to 180ft at 1080p)
Limited by the distance of HDMI cables and need a cost-effective way to extend the length of your HDMI cable? FireFold's HDMI extender extends HDMI signals up to 180ft using Cat6 cables with support up to 1080p. Built-in EDID pass-through allows display capabilities to be communicated. Constructed with a durable aluminum design with wall mountable cut outs for easy installation in any application, the HDMI extender features Full HD support and support for uncompressed audio outputs (LPCM, Dolby TrueHD, DTS Master Audio). IR control also allows you to easily control your source devices, such as Blu-ray players, television receivers, and other HDMI enabled devices.
Extending HDMI Cables through Cat6 Ethernet Cables
Designed as a solution for installations that require longer HDMI lengths, the HDMI-SINGLE-EXTEND uses Cat6 23AWG Ethernet cables to extend the length of a HDMI signal, with support for both video and audio up to 180ft at 1080p (1920 x 1080) without any loss of quality.
1080p Full HD
With support for resolutions up to 1080p / 60Hz, you're able to view your output in high definition. HDCP support also allows protected content to be effortlessly viewed without issues.
Audio Formats
The HDMI extender supports Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby TrueHD, 7.1 LPCM and DTS Master Audio formats.
Plug and Play Operation
Setting up the HDMI extender is as easy as plugging in the HDMI source on the transmitter end and then plugging in the HDMI display on the receiver end. Plug in the included IR cables on both ends to allow the IR signal to be sent remotely, select the length of Cat6 or higher Ethernet 23AWG cable (up to 180 feet) to plug into the Ethernet port on both ends of the transmitter / receiver, and then plug in the included 5V 1A power adapters on both ends for operation.
For best performance, we recommend the use of Cat6 or higher 23AWG bare copper cables if running at the peak length of 180 feet. In practice, if you're running at distances up to 75ft, using Cat5e / Cat6 24AWG will not be an issue.
