Techlogix Networx Fiber-based SFP to SFP Media Converter

TechLogix media converters adapt fiber signals to a variety of different formats and/or cable types.

The TL-MC-1S1S features two SFP ports (SFP module sold separately), effectively adapting signals between different fiber types. In most applications, the TL-MC-1S1S adapts single mode fiber to multimode fiber and vice versa.

The MC-1S1S supports multimode fiber when paired with a multimode SFP module and single mode fiber when paired with a single mode SFP module.

The TL-MC-1S1R features one SFP port (SFP module sold separately) and one RJ45 twisted pair port, effectively adapting twisted pair-based devices to fiber for longer transmission distances. The MC-1S1R supports multimode fiber when paired with a multimode SFP module and single mode fiber when paired with a single mode SFP module.

Two TL-MC-1S1R media converters are required for most applications -- one for each end of the cable run.

Techlogix Networx Fiber Transceiver

TechLogix SFP and SFP+ transceiver modules adapt TechLogix fiber technology to different cable formats.

The TL-1GSFP-MM550 transmits 1G signals up to 550 meters (1,800 feet) over duplex multimode fiber.

1G BiDi SFP Transceiver Modules (Set) - Simplex Fiber

The majority of fiber optic cable installed for audio, video, network and control is two strand (duplex) count or greater. This is because most fiber optic electronics, including SFP modules, segregate send and receive signal transmission onto two separate fiber strands. 

Simplex (or one strand) fiber is typically relegated to telecommunications runs, such as ISP feeds outside of a building. However, from time-to-time simplex fiber finds its way into applications where multistrand is required, either from damaged cable or a previously installed or mis-specified cable. 

The TechLogix TL-1GSFP-BD SFP solves this problem by multiplexing duplex communication onto a simplex cable. 

Each TL-1GSFP-BD includes two matching transceivers that feature a single LC connection. The transceivers must be used in pairs and are compatible with standard 1G network switches, media converters and other 1G-based IP devices. 

For added versatility, the TL-1GSFP-BD is compatible with both single mode and multimode fiber. Single mode supports transmission distances up to 6.2 miles, whereas multimode supports transmission distances up to 492 feet.

Fiber Optic Termination Kit

The TechLogix Networx ECO-TERMK-01 Economy Fiber Termination Kit provides the required tools to terminate fiber optic cable.

The included high precision wheel cleaver produces quality cleaves without the need for microscope verification. The blade provides up to 36,000 cleaves via an easy blade position selection adjustment. A verification fault locator allows for visible laser light to be used during the termination process.

The kit includes carrying bag and strap, precision fiber strippers, VFL, and other hand tools all located in a convenient case that protects the included tools while allowing ease of access.

Techlogix Networx 10GBASE-LR SFP+ 1310nm DOM Transceiver

TechLogix SFP and SFP+ transceiver modules adapt TechLogix fiber technology to different cable formats. The TL-10GSFPP-SM10K transmits 10G signals up to 10km (6.2 miles) over duplex single-mode fiber.

Techlogix Networx Single Mode OS2 Fiber Optic Cable

The TechLogix ECO series delivers an ecologically sound product at an economical price.

ECOFiber is made using bend-insensitive Corning SMF-28 Ultra OS2 fiber and costs up to 30% less than competing brands of optical cable.

It's also friendlier to the environment than copper cabling. Less energy goes into producing fiber cabling and fiber-based systems have a lower energy consumption and smaller installation footprint. Plus, all ECOFiber products ship in minimally processed recyclable packaging.

Techlogix Networx Fiber Optic Coupler

'Get out the cable stretcher!'  This is a mildly humorous prank to play on a greenhorn cable installer, but sometimes, don't you wish you actually had one?

Fiber couplers (sometimes called adapters) are a simple and stable way of extending your fiber optic cable, or creating a service point at a patch panel.

These are also great for coupling your bulk fiber installation cable to a patch cable which will increase the longevity of the install cable.

Techlogix Networx 4 Port Gigabit Ethernet Switch

This 4-port Gigabit Ethernet switch is the perfect component when tying copper-based networking devices to fiber-based networks. Basically, it is an unmanaged 4-port PoE switch with a couple of media converters built-in.

The TL-NS42-POE has four PoE ports that can be configured with or without power to connect a variety of devices, such as security cameras or wireless access points. The COMBO port will connect a fiber- or copper-based network to the copper PoE ports and Optical port 1.

Additionally, the switch can be daisy-chained to another switch via fiber or copper.
