What you have here is a fantastic rack server cabinet, the 45U Linier Full-Size Open Frame Rack. There is so much to this server cabinet that it is great for nearly any environment that you could find a purpose for it in. Let’s get down to the details so you can fully understand why you should purchase this cabinet!
Unlike some of the other cabinets that we carry, this one has no panels on the front or sides. This is great for allowing plenty of easy access and air. Plus, the two sets of cage nut style rails adjust in 1” increments allowing you to adjust the mounting depth to suit your equipment.
There are numerous cable entry points on both the top and bottom of this open-frame rack. Need some more airflow? No problem! There are also 4 large knock outs on the top of the frame to install fans, or for added cable pass through.
Moving a large rack around can sometimes be a hassle, but with the pre-installed casters, all you have to do is roll it into place. Once the rack is in place simply adjust the levelers to lift the rack off the casters, securing its location.

Quest 45 Unit (45U) 4-Post Open Frame Steel Floor Rack, Black
The Quest FR1924-45-02 is a four poster rack that stands 7 feet tall and has 45RU (rack units). Also, of note is the base which has perforated holes for anchoring and an adjustable depth of 24”, 26.5”, 29. 125”, 31.5”, 34”& 36”. With a large 4 poster rack that stands 7 feet tall and claims to hold 45RU, it is nice to know that they are numbered and, when purchasing or installing hardware, one can know how much space he/she is using.
Since this product can hold numerous devices, it comes as a relief that the construction is cold rolled steel with a load capacity of 1700 lbs. The design is sturdy (since it is four-poster) and has a base with perforated holes to anchor the rack to the floor if need be.
With hardware used on racks varying in size, a nice feature of this particular rack is an adjustable depth of various intervals to accommodate your products.
