CAT6a shielded cables are backwards compatible with any 10BaseT or 100BaseT network cards and hubs, allowing you to change out your old cables for these without having to change out your equipment.

Cat6a is the latest standard that can run up to a 600 MHz frequency, transferring up to 10-Gigabits through appropriate equipment. The Cat6a shielded cables still hold a 50-micron gold plated contact within the RJ45 connectors, just as all of FireFold’s Ethernet cables to help prevent corrosion. A boot rests upon each connector, helping prevent snags and damage to your cable.

These CAT6a shielded cables are constructed from four 26 AWG shielded twisted pair pure copper wire strands in a PVC cable casing. The SSTP (screen shielded twisted pair) wires of these Cat6a patch cables are twisted together to reduce cross talk and the individual pairs have shielding around them. The pairs as a unit have an additional braided screen around them.

With a variety of lengths available, you can get the perfect Cat6a patch cable to meet your needs and get your network setup with ease. You can run lengths of up to 328 feet with these cables.

RCA Keystone Jack Beige Insert

This is a Beige RCA Keystone Insert. It has a molded plastic covering with an RCA port that passes through a signal. This product will install quickly and easily into a wall plate or patch panel and provide a convenient port to access in-wall cable.

With demand for high bandwidth IP enabled devices growing, such as those used in network video surveillance, IP surveillance cameras, and data centers that require custom length transmissions up to 10Gbps, our Cat6a field terminable plugs provide an efficient and simple solution to terminate Cat6a cables.

Our field terminable plugs are fully shielded and come with a 25 year warranty when used as an end-to-end copper cabling install. The modular plug supports wire gauges from 23-26AWG and is TAA compliant to meet the U.S. Government's Trade Agreements Act (TAA).

Hassle Free Termination

Installation is easy. Insert the Cat6a cable into the boot. Use the copper foil tape and wrap it around the ground wire if necessary. Insert the wires into the wire manager and then into the plug housing to terminate. When used in conjunction with our field terminable crimping tool, the result is a secure and terminated connection that complies with ANSI/TIA-568-C.2 standards.
