Connectivity and Features

The BG-HDVS42U’s four HDMI inputs support resolutions up to 1080p@60Hz. Video outputs include one HDMI program output, one HDMI multiview output, and one USB type-C output. Audio can be de-embedded from all four HDMI sources and mixed with the two 3.5mm analog inputs. Each audio channel can be delayed to ensure proper sync with the video signal. The mixed audio is embedded to the HDMI and USB-C program outputs. The DB-15 Tally connection provides support for compatible systems.

Control

The BG-HDVS42U includes a full-featured PC control utility, offering enhanced access to all functions including switching, mixing, luma and chroma key, PIP, and POP. DSK and Logo overlays can also be controlled.

A variety of transition effects include such as wipe, mix, and dip. The integrated media library comes with 49 default patterns, 16 imported images, 16 captured images, and two-color generators. Graphics can be imported and overlayed using this library, enabling operators to utilize their own custom logos and overlays for video output.

Interface

1. 2x MIC/Line level IN: 3.5mm stereo mini line in microphone. 2. 4x HDMI IN: Connect to HDMI sources. 3. MULTIVIEW (AUX) OUT: HDMI to display to simultaneous show all 4 inputs. 4. PGM (AUX) OUT: HDMI to display, capture device, etc for selected output. 5. USB OUT: Connect to a PC to view the PGM out image. 6. LAN port: Connect to PC for access to control software. 7. GPIO (for tally): Connects to a tally light control system (not included). 8. DC 12V IN: Connect to provided power supply. 9. Earphone OUT: 3.5mm stereo mini line out. 10. USB type-A: Insert a usb disk to import images and LOGOs; firmware upgrades.

Simultaneously monitor all 6 inputs as well as preview and program on one display using the SDI or HDMI Multiview outputs.
Integrated components include a capture card and an audio mixer to blend 3.5mm or RCA external inputs with 6 channels of embedded audio, eliminating the need for additional equipment.
