The Cat3 Keystone Jack

The Cat3 jack is a widely used keystone for basic voice applications. The Cat3 jack provided by FireFold is designed to provide excellent performance and durability. This Cat3 jack comes with an RJ11/RJ12 Keystone head and is a 6-position, 6-conductor keystone jack. RJ11 keystone jacks have been replaced for most data transfers for the newer RJ45 ended cables in Cat5 and Cat6 cabling standards.

These specific RJ11 keystone jacks require a tool for their cable installation. However, there is an excellent universal writing system label that allows for hassle-free wiring. So, no worries! You’ll be setting these up with ease in no time.

Meeting All Requirements

Each RJ11 keystone jack is flame retardant and meets current standards through TIA/EIA-568. This phone jack standard applies to commercial building cabling for telecom products. As well, each is ETL verified for quality and safety.

These RJ11 jacks are 14.5mm wide by 16mm high and are easily able to fit in most standard keystone jack wall plates. It should be noted that these RJ11 keystones will also work with most patch panels and surface mount boxes, not just wall plates alone.

You can find a variety of keystone wall plates with us, which allow you to customize easily what you put into each wall plate in your home. You could combine one of these with a coax keystone, or even an RJ45 keystone, with just an easy snapping of each keystone into their place.

Its HD design offers a smaller rear footprint, maximizing space in confined work areas, and allows the use of more modular jacks within the same space. The voice High-density modular jacks are designed for business system applications. The IDC accepts 22-24 AWG solid wire and is suitable for use with Apple Talk, DSL, Voice, and Arcnet applications. Compatible with RJ11/14 and 25 modular jacks and plugs.
