Cat8 RJ45 Connectors - Less Shielded

CAT8 RJ45 connectors are designed to work specifically with Cat.8 Cable. The RJ45 contacts are gold plated, wire alignment insert provides an efficient termination without any need of tools. We do recommend to use a cable striper to expose the inner conductors. The housing of the connectors is fully shielded to avoid corrosion and to protect from EMI (ElectroMagnetic interference).

The shielded CAT8 field termination plug is designed specifically for CAT8 bulk cable. This 8 pin 8 conductor (8p8c) plug has 50 micro inch gold plated contacts for superior signal conductivity. The wire alignment insert provides an efficient termination without a crimp tool, although a cable stripper is recommended to prepare the cable for termination. This connector has been rated for PoE and is capable of power transfer.

Why Shield Your RJ45 Connectors?

This connector housing is shielded with zinc die-cast nickel plating. This makes our CAT8 plugs more durable while being less prone to corrosion and rust. All our CAT8 plugs come standard with two different sizes of boots. These boots provide better stress relief support around the connection point of the cable and connector.

Our field terminable plugs are fully shielded and come with a 25 year warranty when used as an end-to-end copper cabling install. The modular plug supports wire gauges from 23-26AWG and is TAA compliant to meet the U.S. Government's Trade Agreements Act (TAA).

Hassle Free Termination

Installation is easy. Insert the Cat6a cable into the boot. Use the copper foil tape and wrap it around the ground wire if necessary. Insert the wires into the wire manager and then into the plug housing to terminate. When used in conjunction with our field terminable crimping tool, the result is a secure and terminated connection that complies with ANSI/TIA-568-C.2 standards.
