Enable-IT 8805 6 Port Gigabit PoE Switch - Firefold

The Enable-IT 8805 Gigabit PoE Switch is a unique product. It can automatically detect any LAN device and determine if it is a PoE device and supply power with IEEE 802.3af standard voltage and watts.

The Enable-IT 8805 Gigabit PoE Switch has 4 dedicated 10/100/1000Mbps Auto-Negotiation RJ-45 LAN ports with each port PoE auto detect enabled. Auto detect PoE uses IEEE 802.3 PoE Power Detection (PD). There is no need to worry about the damage of PoE being applied to Non-PoE Devices and PoE connected devices are supplied with up to 30W per port.

The Gigabit PoE Switch supplies PoE electrical power on industry standard 2-pair (RJ-45 pins 4/5 positive and 7/8 negative) along with Ethernet data in one single cable allowing you to expand your network where there are no power lines or outlets. This enable you to deploy PoE devices such as WiFi Access Points, PoE IP Cameras, PoE Access controls or PoE IP Phones.

This Gigabit PoE Switch supports Gigabit PoE extension up to 3,500ft by using our 865X PRO Gigabit PoE Extender.

Enable-IT 61W - 56VDC Gigabit PoE Injector

The Enable-IT 360 60W 56V Gigabit PoE Injector (Power over Ethernet) is single port IEEE 802.3 AF/AT/BT(type 3) compliant Midspan solution that is a compact and easy to install with RJ-45 Ethernet cabling. This elegant unit is ideal for installing any WiFi Wireless Access Point, Security camera or other PoE powered equipment. It eliminates the need for external power supply and its associated AC/DC power cabling, providing a compact, affordable, safe and reliable power solution over your wiring or existing Ethernet infrastructure.

The Enable-IT 360 Gigabit PoE Injector is very lightweight and compact for most all applications and use. These units are easy and rapid to install with plug and play RJ-45 Ethernet jacks to quickly insert your wiring and go. As a 802.3 AF/AT/BT compliant device, the Injector uses all 4 pair in a category rated wiring bundle. i.e. CAT5e or better run required for Gigabit Ethernet.

The Enable-IT 360 is a 60W 56V DC Gigabit PoE Injector supports both 2-pair and 4-pair PoE output and is ideal for installing high powered IP PoE devices up to 3,500ft when used in conjunction with an Enable-IT PoE Extender.
As will all PoE voltage drops over distance. As a rule of thumb you can lose up to 6V per every 100′- 200′ of wiring, depending on the gauge. Lower power also means more amperage means more heat and perhaps issues with the 24 gauge wires in CAT5. You may need to use 18 gauge wiring for best distance results.

Enable-IT Gigabit PoE Lightning Surge Protector Kit

The Enable-IT™ 265LP Gigabit PoE Lightning Protection Kit is a set of compact weather resistant units that provides cost-effective solution for protecting PoE and Ethernet devices from damaging electrostatic discharge and surges.

The units are fully compatible with industry-standard Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) devices and 10/100/1000 Base-T Ethernet networks, providing Surge Protection for Ethernet data pairs as well as the PoE DC power feed.

The internal High speed semiconductors clamp any voltage, positive or negative on the wires. The limits are /- 15 volts on pins, 1, 2, 3 and 6 and /- 58 volts on pins 4, 5, 7 and 8. The units are compatible with both normal and inverted polarity voltage PoE equipment.

For maximum Surge Protection for Ethernet and PoE installs, this kit provides two 265LP units – one at each end of your Ethernet cable run. Most PoE capable equipment is not protected from surges on Ethernet cabling. The Enable-IT™ 265LP Gigabit Ethernet Lightning Protector Kit is compatible with 10/100/1000 Base-T devices as well as Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) devices, including Wireless Access Points, Access Servers and Outdoor Routers that support Power-over-Ethernet (PoE).

These units will save your expensive LAN or PoE IP Equipment at both ends and they do their job by taking the brunt of a lightning strike damage. They are not repairable once they perform this task and will need to be replaced. If you live in a lightning prone area it is advisable to have a spare set for each outdoor line your trying to protect so that you maintain the safety of your expensive LAN and PoE Equipment.
