The Shielded, Plenum 1000 foot Cat6 Bulk Cable is a must-have for any indoor Plenum rated networking jobs in any noisy situation. This rating of cable is designed with a flame retardant FEP jacket along with an F/UTP (Foiled Unshielded Twisted Pair) shielding manufactured to resist cross-talk and electromagnetic interference that comes with networking in close proximity to other cable sources.
Considered an Industry Standard for most network installations, Category 6 is a "twisted pair" network cable used for carrying data signals at speeds of up to 550MHz of bandwidth.
Plenum rated Cat6 cable contains a flame retardant PVC jacket and is designed for cable runs being laid in spaces defined as "Air Plenums", this includes raised flooring systems, air handling ducts, etc. Plenum jackets produce less smoke than traditional PVC jackets.
This type of cable comes complete with a foil and mylar tape shielding to protect the signal strength of the cable and ensure that there is no signal loss due to nearby electrical equipment, or cross-talk from additional cables in close proximity.
Designed for more straight-forward, simple installations, this particular style of solid cable is perfect for most installations where cable runs do not require several bends and twists in the line.
For this particular cable, the gauge is 23 AWG. American Wire Gauge (AWG) is the standardized gauging system for measuring wire sizes.

The Intellinet Network Solutions 24-Port Gigabit Ethernet PoE+ Web-Managed Switch with 4 Gigabit Combo Base-T/SFP Ports is designed to pass both data and electrical power to a number of PoE-compatible devices via standard Cat5e or Cat6 network cables. Equipped with 24 Gigabit Ethernet ports, all of which support 802.3at/af Power over Ethernet (PoE/PoE+), the switch can power wireless LAN access points and bridges, VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) telephones, IP surveillance cameras and more while delivering network speeds of up to 1000 Mbps.
This Power over Ethernet switch is equipped with Powered Device Monitoring, a self-healing PoE function. This PoE watchdog performs a PD alive check to all connected PDs and automatically resets unresponsive devices, such as PoE security surveillance cameras, by cutting off and then restoring power. The PDM function is especially useful in applications where connected devices are critical to network operation, such as in industrial or surveillance settings. As an added benefit, the PD Alive function helps eliminate unnecessary technical support calls and costly field trips by field-support engineers because the functional reboot can often bring the unresponsive device back online.
The Intellinet Network Solutions 24-Port Gigabit Ethernet PoE+ Web-Managed Switch with 4 Gigabit Combo Base-T/SFP Ports supports the IEEE 802.3at protocol and is designed to inject up to 30 watts of power per port*. IEEE802.3af- or IEEE802.3at-compliant devices attached to the switch require no additional power, which eliminates the time and expense of electrical rewiring and minimizes the unsightly clutter caused by power supplies and adapters.
