Crimson-AV E-Series Fixed Length Extension Column
Ceiling Solutions
There are many reasons why an installer or homeowner would choose to mount their television or projector to the ceiling. Space limitations are often a concern, and sometimes your available walls aren’t constructed to hold enough weight. For many nonstandard rooms or arrangements, ceiling mounting is the best option. In addition to the mount itself, you may need other accessories. With higher ceilings, drop poles and extension columns are usually necessary. The Crimson AV E1 E-Series Fixed Length Extension Column can be used to close the gap between the ceiling and your viewing field.
Fixed Extensions
The Crimson AV E1 is a stationary 1’ drop pole for use with any of Crimson AV’s ceiling mounts and adapters. The 1.5” NPT interface means it can also be used with many other universally compatible mounts as well. Used with Crimson AV’s EC connectors, this column can be coupled with other E-Series extensions to create extra-long drop lengths. The E-Series features fixed ceiling mount extension products from 6 inches to 10 feet, presenting the opportunity for an endless number of custom drop lengths.
The E1 makes cable routing and organization easy with its round, open design. The column and the side cable outlet are both large enough to fit the head of a standard VGA connector. When the cable outlet isn’t in use, you can use the included cover plate to camouflage the opening. This extension column is rated to hold a weight of up to 800lbs and is coated in a scratch-resistant finish so you can be sure it will stand up to years of use while staying strong and looking sleek.

Intellinet 100G QSFP28 to 4 x 25G SFP28 Passive DAC Breakout Cable
One QSFP28 to Four SFP28, Cisco Compatible, MSA- and IBTA-compliant for Maximum Compatibility, Direct Attach Copper, AWG 30, Black
This high-quality breakout cable from Intellinet Network Solutions splits a single QSFP28 100 Gigabit Ethernet port into four individual SFP28 25 Gigabit Ethernet connections, making it ideal for linking a 100G switch uplink to multiple 25G servers, storage devices, or switches. It is MSA-compliant for seamless integration with leading manufacturers such as Cisco, Intellinet Network Solutions, ZyXEL, TP-Link, and Ubiquiti, and equivalent to the Cisco DAC Cable Cisco QSFP-4SFP25G-CU1M. IBTA compliance ensures reliable performance in both Ethernet and InfiniBand environments, while support for QDR InfiniBand, SAS, and Fibre Channel Protocol (FCP) makes it a flexible solution for networking and storage applications.
Our passive QSFP28 to SFP28 DAC twinax breakout cable is an energy-efficient, low-latency, and cost-effective alternative to fiber optic and RJ45 cabling. It is an excellent choice for short-distance structured cabling between switches, routers, servers, or storage, whether in Top of Rack (ToR) setups, adjacent racks, switch stacking, or similar deployments.
Consuming less than 0.15 W, this passive DAC helps reduce operating expenses and produces zero heat in use. Its robust design supports operating temperatures up to 70 °C (158 °F), making it suitable for demanding data center environments.
With fewer internal components than fiber optic cables, DAC breakout cables are more affordable and do not require separate transceivers, reducing both cost and complexity. Hot-swappable connectors allow for quick, seamless network upgrades or replacements without downtime, and unlike fiber, used DAC cables do not require cleaning before reuse.
This DAC supports data transfer rates of up to 25Gbps per SFP+ channel, for an aggregated total of 100 Gbps. Compared to RJ45 twisted-pair cabling, its design provides lower signal latency, which is crucial for high-performance networking.
Featuring durable zinc die-cast SFP28 and QSFP28 connectors with pull-to-release latches, this cable offers secure connections and easy removal. It is fully TAA-compliant and designed for broad interoperability with a wide range of networking equipment.
Please note: This breakout DAC cable is MSA-compliant and programmed to work with compatible switches and routers from Cisco, Intellinet Network Solutions, ZyXEL, TP-Link, Ubiquiti, D-Link, Edimax, Allnet, Allied Telesis, Digitus, KTI Networks, LevelOne, PLANET, Tenda, TRENDnet, ZTE, Avaya, Mikrotik, Enterasys, Finisar, Dell Force10, Riverstone, Fortinet, and more.
