Your Rating

Does this work with HDMI 2.0?

These cables are not HDMI 2.0, so they will not transmit HDMI 2.0 signal. Not all televisions require HDMI 2.0 to work properly, though. Refer to your product manual to determine if your television is HDMI 2.0 or not. If it is, we also offer Premium HDMI 2.0 cables!

Is this 4K rated?

That depends on whether your TV requires HDMI 2.0 for 4K signals. If it does, you will need to purchase a 2.0 HDMI cable for your 4K resolution. If it does not, you can use these cables to transmit 4K.

Is this CCA?

These cables have solid copper conductors. They are not CCA (copper-clad aluminum).

Does this work with a MacBook?

Most Mac/Apple products do not have a regular HDMI port on them. Common Apple connectors include Mini DisplayPort (Thunderbolt), Lightning, and USB-C (Thunderbolt 3). You will need an adapter from you MacBook to go to HDMI, but these cables can be used with that adapter.

What gauge is this cable?

Lengths 1' - 25' are 28 AWG. Lengths 30' - 50' are 26 AWG.

Will this work with my gaming console?

This cable will work with most modern gaming systems, but make sure your console has an HDMI port. Due to signal strength issues, we do not recommend using cables longer than 25' with gaming consoles.

Does it transfer audio and video?

Yes, HDMI is an audio and video cable.

What length cable do I need?

That just depends on how far apart your source and display are. The best way to determine that is by measuring. Use the shortest length possible, but round up if your measurement is in between two sizes.

Are these cables shielded?

These cables have standard foil shielding.

4K: 4K is short for a 3840 x 2160 resolution. This is also called Ultra HD or UHD.

CCA: Copper-clad aluminum cables have copper coated aluminum conductors.

Gauge: Gauge is the thickness of a wire, often described as AWG. The lower the number, the thicker the wire.

HDMI : High-Definition Multimedia Interface. HDMI cables send audio and video at the same time.

Shielding: Foil around cables or conductors that protects against electromagnetic or radiofrequency interference.

Resolution: A measurement of how sharp the picture is based on the number of pixels vertically and horizontally.

HDCP: High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection. It is a security measure to prevent copying of protected media.
