Non-Booted CAT5E Ethernet Cable
FireFold’s Category 5 Enhanced (CAT5E Ethernet Cable) non-booted Ethernet are made to meet market standards. They have an enhanced electrical performance to allow them a slightly better performance than the regular Cat5 Ethernet cable.
CAT5E Ethernet Cables are backwards compatible with any 10BaseT or 100BaseT network cards and hubs, allowing you to change out your old cables for these without having to change out your equipment.
Pure Copper Conductors for Optimal Signal Transmission
These CAT5E Ethernet Cables are constructed from four 24 AWG stranded pure copper wire strands in a PVC cable casing. The stranded copper wires mean that they are more flexible without losing any of their integrity.
Each of these CAT5E patch cables can perform up to 350 MHz, meeting and exceeding the TIA/EIA-568 standard. The UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair) wires help reduce cross-talk while adding to signal quality.
The PVC jacket that wraps around these cables is CM type, which means it is safe for general use. These Ethernet network cables are RoHS rated, meaning that these are made with no hazardous materials. These particular patch cords lack a boot at the connector, allowing them to be disconnected quickly.
High Grade 50 Micron
RJ45 connectors have 50-micron gold plated contacts that are designed to help protect against corrosion. 50 micron is the highest standard for contacts, which is standard with any of the FireFold patch cables.
