Mini-DVI to HDMI Adapter

This adapter will allow you to use Standard DVI-D cables with the Mini-DVI port found on some laptop computers; it is found on the 12-inch PowerBook G4 (except the original 12-inch 867 MHz PowerBook G4, it used Mini-VGA), Intel-based iMac, the MacBook Intel-based laptop, the Intel-based Xserve, and the 2009 Mac mini. Its also used for connecting DVI-D digital monitors. It allows you to plug a standard HDMI cable into this adapter and then plug the adapter into the Mini DVI Port.

Between Mini-DVI and HDMI there is an interface that has been phased out in recent years, hint it's not HDMI. This adapter will allow you to use any older laptops, that incorporated Mini-DVI ports, and connect them to HDMI devices. Essentially, if you have a product with a Mini-DVI port then chances are you will want this adapter.

This adapter will carry digital video to an HDMI display device with a resolution of 1080p for what is currently considered FullHD; however, this adapter only carries the video signal and therefore requires a separate connection (see a separate cable).

A good carrier of a signal prevents noise from interfering with transmission. With a triple shielded wire, you will not have to worry about EMI/RFI.
