Side Load Wall Mount Racks make it easy to mount equipment on the wall. In the past, mounting servers, battery backup systems, tape drives, and other rack mount equipment on the wall was not practical.
Typical wall mount racks don’t allow easy access to the back of the equipment without removing it from the rack. Most swing-out wall mount racks do not have the weight capacity to support heavy devices. Add to this the fact that most air flows from front to back creating a hot spot between the wall and equipment. And with most requiring a 20” useable depth, standard wall mount racks would have to be at least 30” or more off the wall, virtually eliminating any space-saving advantages that are gained by mounting equipment on the wall.
Kendall Howard heard the concerns of IT Installers and Network Administrators and created the convenient Side Load Wall Mount Racks. This revolutionary design makes it simple and cost-effective to install servers, UPS systems, tape drives, and other components on the wall. Side Load Wall Mount Racks allow easy access to the front and back of equipment as everything is installed from side-to-side rather than front-to-back.
The 12U Side Load Wallmount Rack allows easy, full access to the front and back of equipment. This design allows easy access to all connections from either the left or right side. The Low profile design is only 21 inches off the wall making it a true space saver. The 20” fixed mounting depth and open design make installation and maintenance simple and easy. The 350 pound weight capacity gives piece of mind when mounting expensive servers, tape drives and battery backup systems on the wall.
When you don’t have the space for a full size server cabinet or when hanging components on the wall is necessary, the Side Load Wallmount Rack gives some of the same features you get from a 4 Post rack or cabinet in a much smaller foot print.
