The 3x1 HDMI Switcher routes HD video and digital audio from any one of the three sources to display device. Three inputs accommodate the connections of 3 HD video sources simultaneously, such as cable box, satellite systems, game, or DVD players.
The output sends the HD audio/video signals to a HD display. There are three modes for switching: automatically where the latest device plugged in is the current one, manually by push button on the unit or via the IR remote that is provided with the unit.
This mini switch has an external IR sensor so that the switch box can be placed in a discreet location. Enjoy all of your devices with the touch of a button.
There are, in total, 4 open slots available on this device: 1 for output to the display and 3 for input. Some TVs have several HDMI slots on their back while others have only a single one. Regardless of your setup you will save TV slots and keep your entertainment center organized.
An attachable IR sensor is included in this package that allows you to connect your devices and stash the Mini Switch somewhere out of the way. The IR sensor coupled with the IR remote will make you forget that you have several different devices.
No crazy set up or installation needed here. Simply plug your devices to the switch and enjoy. The remote has a a power button, 3 buttons with the numbers "1","2", "3" for the input slots, and up and down arrows to navigate the different input channels.
Note:Cables with equalizers or repeaters are known to cause problems with splitters and switches with repeaters. FireFold recommends using only regular HDMI cables with this device.
