This extender increases an HDMI signal up to 133 feet over two Cat5 or Cat6 Ethernet cables.
The transmitter unit connects to the HDMI audio/video device with a HDMI connection.
The receiver is located near the HDTV display source (HDTV, monitor) and connected to the display source with a HDMI connection.
The transmitter and the receiver units are connected together with two (2) Category 5 cables that transmit a pristine high definition signal between the A/V device and the HDTV display, up to 133 feet.
Features:
- Useful where only plenum in-wall wiring is permitted (use with plenum Ethernet cables)
- No external power required - passively powered by the HD device
