FireFold's Shielded Plenum 1000 foot Cat5E bulk cable is a must-have for Plenum rated networking jobs This STP (shielded twisted pair) cable is perfect for an indoor plenum networking application in any noisy situation. This rating of cable is designed with a flame retardant FEP jacket along with shielding manufactured to resist crosstalk and electromagnetic interference that comes with networking in close proximity to other cable sources.
Since bulk cable is normally used in intervals, the box that it comes in is almost as important as the cabling. Our boxes are reinforced to generally protect the cable. Also, they are easy to pull, allowing the cable to be virtually free of kinks while being pulled out of the box.
The enhanced version of Category 5 is the type of cable that could be considered "mainstream". By this we mean that it is in every department store and is probably the most commonly used in networks.
