Atlona's AT-AD-2 Toslink/Coaxial Audio converter is a great little gadget for those who need to convert optical to coaxial or coaxial to optical or even input a single optical or coaxial and get both outputs working simultaneously. With its built-in amplification feature, AT-AD2 can also serve as a repeater of audio signal and extend (double) the standard transferring distance.

The AT-AD will accept TosLink and Coax and output both of them on the other end. In the case that you have only one of these then the cables the AT-AD will still output both on the other end. This product is like a splitter/adapter hybrid as it converts a single cable into two different types of connections.

...Or an Amplifier.So in addition to being a splitter, this product can also serve as a repeater to boost the signal of whatever you input. This is great for the flexibility of your set up.
