The Atlona Component video Wall Plate Extender kit is a white, rectangular covering for a wall that has 3 circular ports colored red, green, and blue. These ports are labeled Y (Green) P B(Blue) P R(Red) to inform the user of its color encoding scheme. This scheme separates a video analog signal into three channels. Opposite of the component video ports (YPbPr)--i.e. on the back of the wall plate--is an Ethernet port to accept a category 5 enhanced or category 6 cable, which allows for video to be transmitted further and at less cost than using a coax cable. Transference of a component video signal over a networking cable is achieved with the aid of a balun. As a passive product, there is no power needed. Package Includes:- 2 x Wall Plates
