Today's category 5 enhanced (Cat5E) high speed networks demand quality cables to assure superior performance. Our Cat5E patch cables deliver high performance at 350 MHz. Our cables are thoroughly tested to deliver the quality and performance your network deserves. Our Cat5E patch cables are UL certified and meet all the TIA/EIA standards. Our Cat5E patch cables are constructed using 24AWG stranded enhanced Cat5E bulk cable, which consists of 4 unshielded twisted pairs (UTP), and a PVC covering. All of our Cat5E cables are terminated with RJ45 plugs that are plated with 50 microns (50u) of gold.
Noise Reduction. This cable implements a unshielded twisted pair (UTP) and differential signalling--transmitting information electrically over two separate wires using complimentary signals--to reduce noise, such as crosstalk. This helps signal quality and data transmission.
Stranded. Normally category 5E cables are classified as either stranded or solid. Stranded cables offer more flexibility for easier implementation in certain setups where there is many devices in close proximity.
Enhanced. This category 5 cable is enhanced meaning that it is superior to the regular cat 5 by having enhanced electrical performance to support applications that require more bandwidth. Cat5E is also backwards compatible with any 10BaseT or 100BaseT network cards and hubs.
