Stereophonic Cable for The Mic
3.5 mm TRS (tip, ring, sleeve) connectors, commonly known as headphone plugs, are frequently seen in consumer products. The 6.35 mm (1/4") plugs are used for professional products i.e. microphones, instruments, studio equipment, etc. If you have professional equipment then you will need cables for them.
Benefits:
- Durable. With nickel plated plugs, this cable will offer corrosion resistance and protection against wear over time. Professional equipment go through a variety of conditions that could adversely affect performance so having this type of plating on the connectors is a great way to counter these elements.
- Oxygen-Free Copper. Oxygen free copper, used in professional applications, can have offer greater quality then the copper wires used in most consumer goods. OFC offers higher conductivity, and a better ability to transfer low-frequency sounds. When sound matters you will want the best of it.
- Shielding. Adding on to the quality of OFC is the spiral shielding wrapped around it. This outer layer rejects noise interference and has greater flexibility than other types of shielding which leads to longevity in situations where the cable must contort a certain way to make the set up work.
Features:
- Nickel-plated plugs for rugged durability and efficient signal transfer
- Oxygen-Free Copper (OFC) conductors for enhanced signal clarity
- OFC spiral shield for effective EMI and RFI rejection and flexibility
