Screen Your Noise
Today's Category 5 Enhanced (Cat5E) high speed networks demand quality cables to assure superior performance. Our Cat5E patch cables deliver high performance at 350 MHz. Our cables are thoroughly tested to deliver the quality and performance your network deserves. Our Cat5E Patch Cables are UL certified and meet all the TIA/EIA standards. Our Cat5E patch cables are constructed using 26AWG stranded Enhanced Cat5E bulk cable, which consists of 4 shielded twisted pairs (FTP), and a PVC covering. Our brand foil screened twisted pair(FTP) Cat5e patch cables improve data integrity in EMI/RFI rich environments. Our shielded Category 5E patch cables include a concentric foil screen overlay that protects the internal twisted pair bubdles from interference. All of our Cat5E Cables are terminated with RJ45 plugs that are plated with 50 microns (50u) of gold. The cable's molded snagless boot helps prevent cable snags during installation/maintenance and also provides extra strain-relief for the cable.
Shielded. Although untwisted pairs (UTP) offer noise reduction through its twisted wires, it wouldn't be enough in an environment that is electromagnetic interference/radio frequency interference (EMI/RFI) rich. Shielding around these twisted wires protects these sorts of disturbances from entering or exiting the cable within this type of environment.
Molded Snagless Boot. A common problem with these types of connectors is their susceptibility to getting snagged and damaged. This means that they will either not work properly or give you a great hassle. This boot covers this liability. Also the ends of the connector are molded for flexibility and resist the common wear and tear that plagues cables over time.
Enhanced. This category 5 cable is enhanced meaning that it is superior to the regular cat 5 by having enhanced electrical performance to support applications that require more bandwidth. Cat5E is also backwards compatible with any 10BaseT or 100BaseT network cards and hubs.
