Seal The Deal
A nickel plated compression connector for an RG6 quad shield cable. Provides durability, offers a tight fitting seal, and is easy to install. May come in black or blue.
This device has contacts which are plated in nickel. This is done for resistance to both corrosion and general wear that comes with use.
This connector is fitted onto a bare RG-6 (that is, one without a connector) with a tool that compresses the nickel-plated piece into place, providing a very secure connection; however, a cable and F connector may leave space when actually fitted together, as their surfaces may not be perfect. This is where the molded-in gasket comes into play. This product is able to seal-the-deal, so to speak, with this feature that provides a weather-tight enclosure.
